Coaching Services

I provide Coaching on topics decided jointly with you. Coaching is a partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the Client to maximise personal potential. Sessions will facilitate the creation/development of personal health and wellness goals and develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals. Coaching utilises strategic planning, identifies values, brainstorming, motivational interviewing, and other coaching techniques.

In addition to coaching sessions, I am available for text and email feedback between sessions. 

You will be given a coaching agreement before we start that contains these terms, and I ask that you return this signed before the first session.

FEEDBACK 

If, at any time, you feel that my coaching is not meeting your needs, please tell me, so we can discuss your needs and adjust your coaching program as needed. We will continue to work on the goals you define unless you want to stop, which we will do whenever you ask.


NATURE OF THE RELATIONSHIP 

You are solely responsible for creating and implementing your physical, mental and emotional well-being goals, for making decisions, choices, and actions that arise from our relationship.

You understand that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, you will communicate openly, be open to feedback and create the time and energy to participate fully.

You agree that I am not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions/inaction or any direct/indirect result of my services.

You have been made aware that the coaching relationship does not constitute psychotherapy, psychological counselling, or therapy of any kind. In the event you feel the need for professional counselling or treatment, it is your responsibility to seek a licensed professional. You also understand that coaching does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease. If you are under the care of a mental health professional, I strongly recommend that you inform this person of our coaching relationship.

 

SCHEDULE AND FEES

You can make payments via Stripe, or bank deposit on a mutually agreeable schedule.

Payment is to be made in advance of all sessions.


SESSION TIME 

Coaching sessions will follow a mutually agreed schedule. Sessions can be booked in advance via the portal or discussed at the close of each session. 


CANCELLATIONS 

I ask that you give 24 hours prior notice if you need to cancel or change the time of an appointment. I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions to a different time.

I reserve the right to charge for sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.


TERMINATION 

Either party may end the coaching relationship by providing the other party with a one-week written notice via email.


REFUND POLICY

I do not provide refunds for plans and other customised documents once they have been provided to you. As part of each plan, you are entitled to a 15 minute follow up consultation (free) where you can ask questions. I am happy to provide phone or email support within business hours for queries also.

Where either party has requested to terminate a coaching agreement, I will refund all unused session charges in full.


CONFIDENTIALITY 

I take the coaching code of ethics very seriously. I protect the confidentiality of the communications with my clients, including my coaching clients, as described by the International Coach Federation code of ethics. I will not release any information about our work to others without your written permission.

Confidential information does not include information that: (a) where I am required to do so by law, court order, or similar (b)you disclose and as a result, I reasonably believe there to be a risk of danger or harm you or others (c) involves illegal activity.

It is impossible to protect the confidentiality of information transmitted electronically fully. This is particularly true of email and information stored on devices connected to the Internet. Save your files in a HIPPA compliant portal?

Asa final note, I cannot fully protect confidentiality in team or group coaching. Members of the group may choose to reveal information without my knowledge or approval.


MUTUAL NONDISCLOSURE 

We will likely discuss plans, business, financial or job information, goals, personal and other private information.

I will not voluntarily communicate your information to a third party. To honour and protect my intellectual property, you agree not to disclose or share information about my practice, materials, or methods with any third parties.


RECORDING OF SESSIONS

I offer to record our sessions and share these with you - I will not record without your express permission, and at your request.


DISPUTE RESOLUTION.

Any claim arising out of or breach relating to this Agreement will be settled by arbitration. This will occur with an arbitrator that we mutually agree upon, the cost being paid by the losing party.
